Marjorie Dalton was born February 22, 1923 and departed this life April 2, 2014 reaching the age of 91 years. She was the daughter of the late Basil Duke and Birdie Mae (Moore) Daffron.

She married Haskell "Hack" Dalton and to this union three children were born.

She is survived by: her children, Betty Sue York (Sherman), W. Dee Dalton (Clorenda), and Timothy R. Dalton (Pam); three grandchildren, Rachel Elizabeth Dalton (Jason), W. Dee Dalton II, and Molly Elizabeth Dalton; and two great grandchildren, Gabriella Dalton and Ansley Dalton.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: siblings, Virgil Daffron (Marcia), Donald Daffron (Barbara), and Betty D. Sutton (Robert d.).

She was a loving mother, grandmother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

A private family service will be held Saturday, April 5, 2014 at the Elk Spring Cemetery shelter. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
