Obituary
Mrs. Marjorie Needham Bow, age 86 and a resident of Monticello, KY passed away Sunday, January 28,2018 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY
Marjorie was born in Burkesville, KY on April 3, 1931 to the late James Julius and Grace Cloyd Needham. She had served as the Librarian at the Wayne Co. Library in Monticello. She was a longtime member of the Monticello United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir for many years.
She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Tom and Barbie Bow of Orlando, Florida. She also leaves her grandchildren, Dr. Kyle Bow, Orlando, Florida, Joy (Matt) Gilliam, Tampa, Florida, Shanea (Brandon) Garretson, Lexington, KY and Daniel (Kezia) Saravia, Lexington, KY. Also surviving are her great grandchildren, Gabe, Drake and Grayson Gilliam, Cole Thomas and Ty Warren Garretson and Angelica, Nico and Malachi Saravia, 2 nieces, Vernell Young, Louisville, KY and Lisa Needham Hutchins, Fulton, KY along with several great nieces and nephews and cousins.
Those preceding her in death besides her parents are her husband of 64 years, Clifford Bow who died April 3, 2011, her step mother, Helen Harper Needham and a brother, James Q. Needham.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home. Bro. Seth Denney will officiate. Burial will follow in the Elk Spring Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday after 11:00 am until the service hour at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorials to the Monticello United Methodist Church 125 Michigan Ave. Monticello, KY 42633
