Marilyn Bell was born February 24, 1962 and departed this life Wednesday, July 08, 2015 reaching the age of 53 years. She was the daughter of the late Robert Coleman and Ruby Hulda (Ferrell) Shelton.

She is survived by: her husband, Mike Bell; son, Lucas Marcum; daughter, Marsha Marcum; step daughters, Crystal Flynn and Michelle Alley; and 5 grandchildren. She is also survived by: four brothers, Robert, Homer, Amos, and Eugene Shelton; and two sisters, Ruby Dean and Donita Smith; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Robert and Ruby Shelton, she was preceded in death by: four brothers, Ralph, Troy, Sterlie "Stevie", and Tommy Shelton.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 9, 2015 after 5 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 10, 2015 at 11 am at the First Apostolic Church in Somerset with a visitation at the church at 10 am. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
