Obituary
Marie Russell was born February 18, 1934 in and departed this life on Friday, January 24, 2014 having reached the age of 79 years. She was the daughter of the late George and Martha Jane (Winchester) Ferrell.
She was married to the late Claude Russell and to this union 6 children were born.
She is survived by: 3 sons, Forrest, Steve, and Colson Jack Russell; 2 daughters, Linda Jean Russell and Cindy Lou Roysdon; 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by: her husband, Claude Russell; an infant son, Dennis Lynn Russell; her parents, George & Martha Jane Ferrell; 2 brothers, Dennis and Everett Ferrell; and one sister, Pearl Hall.
The family will receive friends on Monday, January 27, 2014 after 5pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at 11am in chapel of the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home with Bro. Dewey Burke officiating. Burial to follow in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
