Margie Carol Kennedy went home to be with the Lord on December 20, 2024. She was the widow of the late Ronnie Kay Kennedy. They were united in marriage on April 21, 1972 and shared 49 years of marriage together. She was born in Monticello, Ky to the late Claude and Leavie Pyles.

She is survived by her two sons: Bobby Kennedy & Donald (Debbie) Kennedy; thirteen grandchildren: Anthony (Mattea) Kennedy, Andrew Kennedy, Tyler (Cassie) Kennedy, Brittany (Jacob) Gilbreath, Austin (Jeanelle) Kennedy, John (Kelsay) Hicks, Cody Kennedy, Jordana Kennedy (Elijiah), Judson Hicks, Cademon Hicks, Cali Kennedy, Tucker Kennedy, & Abby Kennedy; four great grandchildren: Everleigh Kennedy, Zachariah Gilbreath, Greyson Kennedy, & Ansel Gilbreath; and her siblings: Betty Dishman, Barb (Luther) Dishman, Darlene (Dexter) Hicks, Ronnie (Barb) Pyles, & Tony (Diane) Pyles.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Claude & Leavie Pyles, her husband: Ronnie Kennedy; her son: Brian Kennedy; and her brothers: Junior & Thurman Pyles.

Margie was a good Christian lady who loved her family & friends dearly. She will be sadly missed by all who knew.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 23, 2024, between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Monday, December 23, 2024, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Dishman Cemetery.
