Margaret Hicks was born August 24, 1935 and departed this life Tuesday, June 28, 2022 reaching the age of 86 years. She was the daughter of the late Leslie and Ova Dell (Pogue) Sloan.

She is survived by: her daughter, Pam Wright; two grandchildren, Bill (Sara) Wright and Cathy (Brian) Goodwin; four great grandchildren, Kaytlin Goodwin, Joshua Goodwin, Grace Wright, and Matthew Wright; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Leslie and Ova Sloan, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Hobert Hicks; and one brother, James Sloan.

Graveside services and burial will be Friday, July 1, 2022 at 12 noon at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
