Malcolm Jamal Curtis Pennycuff was born September 3, 2002 and departed this life February 8, 2012 reaching the age of 9. He was the son of Tony and Amanda (Russell) Pennycuff.

He is survived by: his parents, Tony and Amanda Pennycuff; 2 brothers, Dominique Jordan Curtis and Marvin Thomas Pennycuff; and 1 sister, Jasemine Desiree Gale Pennycuff.

He is also survived by: his paternal grandparents, George and Fronia (Curtis) Pennycuff of Alpha, KY; his maternal grandmother, Brenda Jean Russell of Monticello, KY; great grandmother, Louise Crabtree of Somerset, KY; aunts and uncles: Crystal Russell of Monticello, KY, David (Lois) Pennycuff of Albany, KY, Phillip (Melissa) Pennycuff of Monticello, KY, Patty Pennycuff of Alpha, KY, Joanna (Ricky) of Monticello, KY, Janie (Michael) Gregory of Monticello, KY, and Jamie (Leslie) Tucker of Alpha, KY; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

Malcolm was preceded in death by: 1 sister; his maternal grandfather, Marvin Gale Russell; great grandparents, Virgil and Susie Huckaby, Cordell Pennycuff, Estel "Duck" and Pearl Prince, and Dallas "Slick" and Mary Russell.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 12, 2012 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 12, 2012 at 1 pm at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Riddle, Bro. George Kramer and Bro. Michael Gregory officiating. Burial will be in Old Bethel Cemetery.
