Mack Ward Lewis was born May 6, 1928 and departed this life Friday, January 25, 2013 reaching the age of 84. He was the son of the late Bill and Lucy (Foster) Lewis.

He is survived by: his wife, Leodora "Dora" (Rigney) Lewis of Monticello, KY; his daughter, Shirley Carrender of Monticello, KY; 5 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Bill and Lucy Lewis, he was preceded in death by: 3 sons, Leonard Ray, Hale, and Glen David Lewis; 1 great grandchild, Jeremy Hicks; 2 brothers, Claude and Clyde Lewis; and 4 sisters, Opal Lewis, Doria Pryor, Flossie Taylor and Flonnie Kirk.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 28, 2013 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Tuttles Chapel Cemetery.
