Mabel Gearlene Parmley was born May 24, 1941 and departed this life Wednesday, October  27, 2021 reaching the age of 80 years. She was the daughter of the late Bal and Mamie (Parmley) Stephenson.

She is survived by: her children, Freda (Bill) Ford, Gordon Parmley, Lyndon (Marla) Parmley, Malissa (Richie) Atkinson, and Jarrad (Hannah) Parmley; 14 grandchildren, Chelsea Shelton, Joseph Atkinson, Whitney Tanner, Bill Ford, Candice Ford, Kristin Berry, Taylor Ford, Lindsey Ford, Dylan Parmley, Ryker Parmley, Paxton Parmley, Maddox Parmley, Beckett Parmley, and Jared Taylor Parmley; and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings, Vancil (Juanita) Stephenson and Vela Stephenson; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Elvis Parmley; four brothers, George Vester Stephenson, Ralph Dexter Stephenson, Cecil Stephenson, and Bruce Stephenson.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 30, 2021 between 11 pm – 1 pm at the Parnell Methodist Church.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 1 pm at the Parnell Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Parnell Methodist Church Cemetery.
