M. Diane Alexander, 71, of Monticello, KY passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 19, 2021.  She was born on October 31, 1949.  Her parents were the late Stella (Watson) (Papaw Kenny) Sexton and the late Milton Alexander.

She is survived by her children, Angela (Darryck) Dorman of Greenfield, Indiana and Christopher McCormick and his partner Jimmy Carrillo of San Francisco, California; and two grandchildren:  Dyanna and Dylan Dorman of Greenfield, IN.

She is also survived by a step brother, step sisters, special nieces, nephews, and cousins, along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers:  Bruce Alexander and Milton Thomas Alexander; two sisters:  Micki Alexander Pierce and Rita Gaye Alexander; her step-father, Kenneth Sexton; and one nephew:  Steven Douglas Fowler.

Visitation will be from 1 pm – 3 pm, Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home in Monticello, KY.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm, Friday, June 25, 2021 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle, where the funeral service will be at 1:00 pm, with Pastor Matt Wickham officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery-West Lawn Addition. Memorial contributions may be given to the ALS Association, 1300 Wilson Blvd. Suite 100, Arlington, VA, 22209 .
