Lula Ann "LuAnn" Russell, age 70 of Monticello, KY, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Wayne County Hospital.

She was born December 31, 1948 in Monticello, KY; the daughter of the late Sam and Lula (Canada) Roberts.

She married Gary Russell who preceded her in death.

She is survived by: two sons, Wesley Russell of Monticello, KY and Darren Russell of Louisville, KY, and one step-son, Marty (Connie) Jackson of Monticello, KY; six grandchildren, Taylar Richard, Logan Russell, Ashton Russell, and Shelby Russell all of Louisville, KY, Shawn Jackson and Sydney Jackson both of Monticello, KY. She is also survived by: one sister, Wanda Smith; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Sam and Lula Roberts, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Gary Russell; one brother, Sammie Kay Roberts; and one sister, Amanda Lee Dick.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 17, 2019 between 11am – 1:30pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Graveside services will be held Friday, May 17, 2019 at 2 pm at the Parnell Baptist Church Cemetery. Burial will be in the Parnell Baptist Cemetery
