LUCY ALLENE TUGGLE PIERCY was born April 24, 1915 and departed this life May 31, 2006 reaching the age of 91 years. She was the daughter of Wiseman and Sally (Clark) Tuggle.

She was united in marriage to Casto Piercy and to this union eight children were born.

She is survived by three sons, Don Piercy of Leesburg, OH, Russell Piercy of Loveland, OH, and Lonnie Piercy of Monticello, KY; four daughters, Irene Davis and Norma Scalf both of Goshen, OH, Christine Slagle of Monticello, KY, and Pamela Watkins of Riverview, FL; 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

She is also survived by two brothers, Raymond Tuggle of New Castle, IN and James Tuggle of Monticello, KY; and two sisters, Erman Decker of Somerset, KY and Marjorie Irwin of Maryville, TN; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wiseman and Sally Tuggle; her husband, Casto Piercy; one daughter, Darlene Piercy; one brother, Earl Tuggle; two half brothers, Bill and Delbert Tuggle; and one half sister, Zula Perdue.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.


Visitation: Friday, June 2nd after 5 pm
Funeral Service: Saturday, June 3rd at 2 pm at Keen's Chapel United Methodist Church
Interment: Taylor's Grove Cemetery
