Lucille Sexton was born September 24, 1915 and departed this life September 23, 2003 reaching the age of 87 years. She was the daughter of Sam Carrender and Ethel Boston Carrender.

She is survived by 3 sons – Kenneth Sexton of Milton, IN, Glen Sexton of Hagerstown, IN, Billy Rex Sexton of Monticello, KY, 4 daughters – Ethel Susie Hicks of Milton, IN, Donna Shepard, Sharlene Jones, Judy Arlene Perkins, all of Monticello, KY, 3 brothers – Herbert Carrender of New Castle, IN Billy Carrender of Carrolton, OH, and Lawrence Carrender of Cincinnati, OH and 2 sisters – Thelma Troxell of Anderson, IN, and Velma Massengale of Monticello, KY, 17 grandchildren , 32 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren, along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by her husband – Robert Sexton, her parents – Sam and Ethel Carrender, 2 sons – Roger and Robert Sexton, 1 daughter – Frances Jarboe, 1 grandchild and 1 great grandchild, 1 brother – Reed Carrender, and 1 sister – Wilma Riggs.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation: The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 25 between the hours of 5:00 and 9:00 pm
Funeral Service: Funeral services will be held Friday, September 26 at 1:00 PM
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
