Lucas Arlond Dick was born February 6, 1981 and departed this life Sunday, October 31, 2021 reaching the age of 40 years. He was the son of Gerald Wade Dick and the late Ruth Kateri (Terronez) Massengill.

In addition to his father, he is survived by: one daughter, Kendal Shae Dick; two brothers, Gerald "Gery" Wade (Christal) Dick, II and Douglas "Kyle" (Jennifer) Dick; and his grandmother, Gwen Dick; t h ree nieces , Hunter, Adriana , and Charlie Dick ; three neph ews, Keelan, Jimmy, and Jes se Dick; and one great-niece, Alma Kate Dick; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Kateri Massengill; his paternal grandfather, Lawrence Dick; and his maternal grandparents, Gene and Ruth Terronez.

He was a loving son, father, brother, grandson, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 7, 2021 between 10 am – 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 7, 2021 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Dick Cemetery.
