Lola Magdaline Hicks Kingston was born December 2, 1926 and was called home to a better life on Wednesday, August 28, 2018 at the age of 91.

She is survived by her sister, Eva Davis, a son, Dan Edwards (Susan), and a daughter, Tonya Kingston. Five grandchildren survive her, Scott Edwards, Arielle, Alexander, Anastasia and Alijah Caron. There are four great grandchildren that also survive her – Andrew Edwards, Wyatt Crowell Barnhardt and Lola Renee Arrington. As well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Anthony "Tony" Kingston and Wallace "Wally" Edwards as well as six brothers – Willard, Odell, Lee "Jr", Lonzo, Bradley and Robert. Also preceding her in death was her son, Jackie Dale Edwards, one grandchild, Christopher Edwards, and one great grandchild, Layla Faye Barnhardt.

Visitation will be at Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home on September 6, 2018 at 11:00 with Corbie Hicks officiating with the funeral at 12 noon also at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Taylor's Grove Cemetery.
