Lois Shoemaker was born August 18, 1939 and departed this life Wednesday, May 14, 2016 reaching the age of 76 years. She was the daughter of the late Orville and Vena (Denney) Sexton.

She is survived by: two sons, David Keith Edwards and George Allen Siglar; two daughters, Deborah Kay Walton and Rhonda Faye Batsche; one brother, Jerry Sexton; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Orville and Vena Sexton, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Charles Shoemaker, Jr.; three brothers, Bobby, Tommy, and Billy Sexton.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 after 9 am in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at 1:30 pm in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
