Linda Kay Shepperd was born July 30, 1948, and departed this life Friday, April 10, 2026, reaching the age of 77 years. She was the daughter of Thelma (Stephenson) Parmley and (the late) Narvel Parmley.

She is survived by her mother, Thelma Parmley; daughters, Zella Fulp (husband, Brian, Sr.), Barbara Kay Shepperd, and Lola Dobbs (husband, Rodney); seven grandchildren, Trenton Dobbs, Brandon Dobbs, Joseph Moss, Devon Heichel, Shelby Fulp, Zander Fulp, and Landon Shepperd; three great-grandchildren, Bryden Dobbs, Hayden Moss, and Jensen Moss; one sister, Marilyn Muse; and one brother, Curtis Parmley; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one sister, Lana Yvonne Branscum, and two brothers, Jeffery Allen Parmley and Richard Dale Parmley.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 11 am to 2 pm in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Parnell Methodist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Linda Kay Shepperd Memorial Fund, c/o Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home.
