Linda McCutchen passed away October 9th, 2013 at Golden Years Nursing Home. Linda was 73 years of age. She was born in New Castle, IN on May 6th, 1940; the daughter of Clyde and Marjorie Kirkpatrick.

She is survived by: two sons, Leonard Owens of Monticello, KY and Charlie (Becky) Blackburn of Monterey, TN; three daughters, Teresa (Gene) King of Monticello, KY, Robin (Pat) Hamer of Indianapolis, IN, and Linda Garner of Columbia, MO; 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She is also survived by: three brothers, Paul of Chesterfield, IN, Claude of Greenville, OH, and Jack of Avon, IN; three sisters, Joyce Durman of Cincinnati, OH, Judy Heis of Crawfordsville, IN, and Nancy Drive of White Hall, MD.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Timothy Allen Owens and William Jack Davis; and one grandson, Brandon Scott Garner.

Linda loved her Lord and Savior and was a member of Faith United Baptist Church. She was a retired, loyal employee of Shopwise Deli where she cooked and baked which were two of her favorite things to do. Linda was a very special lady who will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 11, 2013 from 11am – 2pm in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will be Friday, October 11, 2013 at 2pm in the chapel of the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
