Linda Brown Lair, age 64, was born on September 22, 1951 and passed away on May 20, 2016. She was the widow of Donald Conley Lair and the daughter of Juanita Guffey Brown and the late Cecil Ray Brown.

She is survived by two children: Jonathan (Aria) Lair and Tina Jo (Kenny) Tichenor; two sisters: Barbara Crouch and Twila (Paul) Haynes; and three brothers: Gary (Janet) Brown, Barry (Kim) Brown, and Cecil Kay (Cathy) Brown.

She retired from Belden, was a member and former adjutant of the DAV Auxillary Chapter 105, and was a member of the Roger's Grove Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 23, 2016 from 5-9 pm in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 11 am in the chapel of the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Roger's Grove Church Cemetery.

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Gideon Bible program or the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
