Linda Pearl Hicks was born May 25, 1941 and departed this life Friday evening, February 7th, 2025, reaching the age of 83 years. She was the daughter of the late Winston Larkin and Lora (Winchester) Silvers.

She is survived by: 5 sons, Terry (Penny) Hicks, Donald (Melinda) Hicks, Johnny (Patty) Hicks, Ricky Hicks, and Darrell (Trish) Hicks; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, David Hicks; 1 daughter, Lesa Jane Hicks; 1 great-grandson, James Allen Bone; 2 brothers, James "Snooks" Silvers and Orville Russell Silvers; and 3 sisters, Betty Jo Silvers, Florabelle Smith and Violet Silvers.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, from 5-8pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at 11am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
