Linda Faye Hancock was born March 20, 1948 and departed this life Thursday, February 10, 2011 reaching the age of 62. She was the daughter of the late Oplis and Janie (Catron) Hancock.

She is survived by: 4 brothers, Larry (Melissa) Hancock, Tony (Linda) Hancock, Jerry (Connie) Hancock, and Richard (Mae) Hancock; 2 sisters, Mary Ann (Roy) Stinson and Jeanetta (Jeff) Meredith; numerous nieces and nephews; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Oplis and Janie Hancock, she was preceded in death by: 1 brother, Bennie Hancock.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 12, 2011 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 13, 2011 at 12 pm at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Lawless. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
