Linda Gay Daniel was born September 4, 1961, and departed this life Sunday, June 30, 2024 reaching the age of 62 years. She was the daughter of the late Marion and Ona Mae (Dishman) Brown.

She is survived by: two daughters, Cathy Draughn (Ronnie Cooper) and Erica Bebley; one sister Barbara Hicks; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren; and a special niece, Sheila Lynn; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Marion and Ona Brown, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Mac Arthur Daniel; one son, Jeffrey Abner; two brothers, Danny Brown and Robert Brown; and one sister Anna Mae Cooper.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 5, 2024, between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Friday, July 5, 2024, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Alexander Cemetery.
