Linda Faye Brown was born November 19, 1964, and departed this life September 30, 2025 reaching the age of 60 years. She was the daughter of the late Sollie Brown and Bessie (Peavie) Brown Kennedy.

She is survived by: her siblings, Deloris Carroll (Jimmie) and Bobby Brake; and special friends, Julie Dobbs, Brenda Scarrow, and Arbadella Hamilton; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

Linda loved celebrating holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas, Mickey & Minnie Mouse, and being around people.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 4, 2025, between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the New Charity Cemetery.
