Lilly Mae Middleton was born September 15, 1947, and departed this life Thursday, July 18, 2024, reaching the age of 76 years. She was the daughter of the late Odie Marion and Dempie Lillian (Gregory) Koger.

She is survived by: her husband, Kenneth Middleton; her children, Penny, Danny, and Charlie Black; two grandchildren, Raney and Jesse Black; and one sister, Dorothy Tucker; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her 1st husband, Kay Black; three brothers, Ralph, Paul, and Cecil Koger; and five sisters, Plina Slavens, Vela Hicks, Alta Koger, Helen Kaser, and Lucille Jones.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
