Lilly Grace Dishman was born February 22, 1941, and departed this life Sunday, April 20, 2025, reaching the age of 84 years. She was the daughter of (the late) William Bryant and Hettie Lee (Hancock) Peavie.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Kathy (Dorman) Dishman-Oakes, and Sue Dishman; 1 granddaughter, Jessica Dishman; 2 great-grandchildren, Jaycee Dishman, and Elijah Hancock; 1 brother, Russell Peavie; 2 sisters, Nannie Dishman, and Eva Dishman; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gradie Dishman; 1 sister, Bessie Kennedy; and 4 infant siblings.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, between 5 pm – 8 pm at the Soul Harbor Church of God.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 1 pm at the Soul Harbor Church of God. Burial will be in the Gap Creek Cemetery.
