Lillie Lowe was born January 13, 1930 and departed this life Thursday, January 6, 2011 reaching the age of 80 old. After a long illness, she passed away with her children by her side at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, KY.

She was the daughter of the late Jess and Esther (Brummett) Doss. She accepted Christ as her personal Savior in her younger years and loved God and taught her children to love Him as well.

She was united in marriage to Randall Keeton and to this union 4 children were born. At an early age she became a widow with 4 children all under the age of 5. She later married Ollie Lowe and to this union 2 children were born.

She is survived by: 3 sons, Rodger Keeton of Monticello, KY, Earl Lowe of Lexington, KY, and Steve Lowe of Covington, KY; and 1 daughter, Darlene Massengale of Monticello, KY; 8 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. She is also survived by: 1 sister, Jessie Rigney of New Castle, IN; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Jess and Esther, she was preceded in death by: by her husbands, Randall Keeton and Ollie Lowe; 2 sons, David Keeton and Donald Ray Keeton; 4 brothers, Hershell Doss, Frank Doss, Bill Doss, and Charles Doss; and 2 sisters, Vivian Lona Doss Frost and Mary Doss Brown.

She was an amazing woman, mother, MaMaw, and such an inspiration to all who knew her. She love and lived for her family.

Mom – MaMaw- we love and loved you so much – we will never, ever stop loving and missing you. We know your pain and suffering are over and you are in heaven with loved ones, Don and David. We, one day, will be with you! Thank you, Mom – MaMaw for being the best that ever was!

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 9, 2011 from 5- 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 10, 2011 at 2 pm at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Byron Creech and Bro. Oral Denney officiating. Burial will be in Elk Spring Cemetery.
