Lewis B. Correll was born January 29, 1931, and departed this life August 22, 2024, reaching the age of 93 years. He was the son of the late Marion Luther and Nellie (Cowan) Correll.

He is survived by his wife, of 61 years, Agnes Guffey Correll; two sisters-in-law, Alice Crabtree and Mildred Phipps; numerous nieces and nephews; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

Lewis was a Veteran having served in the U.S. Army.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 24, 2024, between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to:  Rector's Flat Baptist Church Building Fund, 95 Murl Road, Monticello, KY 42633.
