Letha Catron was born April 13, 1931 and departed this life July 6, 2010 reaching the age of 79. She was the daughter of the late Menville and Flonnie (Dobbs) Hughes.

She is survived by: 1 son, Bill (Barbara) Catron; 1 daughter, Betty Poe; 5 grandchildren, Kelly Guffey, Roger Catron, Michael Catron, Mark Poe, and Karen Blevins; and 9 great grandchildren. She is also survived by: 3 sisters, Lela Neal, Lillian Smith, and Caroline Koger; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Elmer Catron; and 3 sisters, Doris Brewster, Alta Edwards, and Ina Pyles.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 8, 2010 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 9, 2010 at 11 am at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home. Burial will be in Elk Spring Cemetery.
