Lester R. Slusher was born May 6, 1944 and departed this life Tuesday, June 29, 2021 reaching the age of 77 years. He was the son of the late Frank and Miranda (Roark) Slusher.

He is survived by: one brother, Claude (Helen) Slusher; three sisters, Betty Webb, Ardith Abrams and Lillian Greene; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Frank and Miranda Slusher, he was preceded in death by: four brothers, Elmer, Everett, Woodrow, and Frank, Jr. Slusher; and two sisters, Dorothy Webb and Lucy.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Parmley's Grove Cemetery.
