Obituary
Leslie W. Taylor was born March 23, 1920 and departed this life March 3, 2004 reaching the age of 83. He was the son of Alfred Edd Taylor and Rachel New Taylor.
He was united in marriage to Lettie Marie Pittman who survives him.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by: two sons, Del Taylor of Decatur, IL and Don Adams Taylor of Indianapolis, IN; two daughters, Donna Pickens and Mary Holland of Indianapolis, IN; and four grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Rachel Taylor; four brothers, Ray, Oscar, Marshall, Delbert Joe Taylor; five sisters, Rosie Goldberry, Opal Coffey, Bertha Taylor, Rodie Thompson, and Flonnie Sidwell.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation: Thursday, March 4 after 5:30 PM
Funeral Service: Friday, March 5 at 10 AM
Interment: Taylor Cemetery
