Obituary
LEROY PREAT was born October 3, 1937 and departed this life November 14, 2004 reaching the age of 67 years. He was the son of Leo Preat and Catherine Cochran Preat.
He was united in marriage to Clara Pitman and to this union two children were born.
He is survived by his wife, Clara Preat of Monticello; two sons, James and Leo Preat both of Monticello; one daughter, Cathy Preat; one half brother, Leo Preat of Texas; two half sisters, Ida Cornier of Michigan and Lora Louise Payne of Nevada; and six grandchildren, David and Melissa Moravec, Dakota, Alexandra, Chase and Bailey Preat.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Catherine Preat.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation: Wednesday, November 17 after 5 PM
Funeral Service: Thursday, November 18 at 10 AM
Interment: Gap Creek Cemetery
