Obituary
Lera Amy Carter was born February 25, 1911 and departed this life January 11, 2004 reaching the age of 92.
She was united in marriage to Clyde Carter and to this union one child was born.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Sue Carter of Monticello; two granddaughters, Brandy and Ashley Dobbs; one brother, Arlie Goad of Bowling Green, KY; and two great grandchildren, Braden and Renan Dobbs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Carter; her parents; five brothers, Arnold, Ardus, Arrgie, Arthur, and Alvis Goad; and two sisters, Adlee Jackdson and Alfie.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation: Monday, January 12 after 5 PM
Funeral Service: Tuesday, January 13 at 11 AM
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
