Leonard Wade Owens was born July 17, 1960 and departed this life Thursday, August 29, 2019 reaching the age of 59 years. He was the son of the late Robert and Linda Sue (Kirkpatrick) Owens.

He is survived by: 1 son, Jessie Owens; 1 daughter, Lisa Moore Haproff; 2 grandchildren, Lilly and Nash Haproff; 1 brother, James Lyle (Rebecca) Blackburn of Monterey, TN.; 3 sisters, Teresa King of Monticello, Robin Hamer and Linda Sue Garner both of Columbia, MO; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: 1 brother, William Jack Davis.

He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who was much loved and will be greatly missed!

A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 2 pm at the Elk Spring Cemetery Shelter house with burial to follow.
