Obituary
Leonard Roy Adams was born September 25, 1944 and departed this life Tuesday, December 27, 2011 reaching the age of 67. He was the son of the late Mark and Vivian (Klinger) Adams.
He is survived by: his wife, Marian (Morgan) Adams of Monticello, KY; and 1 brother, Robert Adams of Tamaqua, PA; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
Leonard was a Navy Veteran who served his country with honor. He then worked for the USDA Soil Conservation Division until his retirement. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Monticello, KY.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 29, 2011 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 30, 2011 at 1 pm at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Bob Schaeffer, Bro. Robert Adams, and Bro. Steve Glenn officiating. Burial will be in Elk Spring Cemetery. Military honors will be performed by DAV Chapter 105.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to: Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 944, Monticello, KY 42633
