Lenola Marie Barber was born November 19, 1937 and departed this life Saturday, August 7, 2021 reaching the age of 83 years. She was the daughter of the late Hilery and Ida (Smith) Beaty.

She is survived by: 2 sons, Irvin and Ronnie Jones; 4 daughters, Connie Gibson, Kathie Daley, Crystal Stauffer and Lora Leffew; 1 sister, Judy Rice; 12 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by: her husband, Hobert O. Barber; 1 brother, Charlie Beaty; and 3 sisters, Evelyn Jones, Virginia Ryder and Ovadean Beaty.

Lenola was a member of the Smith's Chapel Church in Albany.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
