Obituary
LENA MAE SLAGLE, age 92, of Grinnell, Iowa, died September 11, 2006, at St. Francis Manor in Grinnell.
She is survived by: one daughter, Grace (Carson) Asberry of Grinnell, Iowa; her grandchildren, Carolyn Asberry of Grinnell, Ronnie Fairchild of Baxter, Iowa, Glen Asberry of Grinnell, and Ann Bell of Grinnell; nine great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Lucille Fairchild; grandchildren, Imegene Fairchild and Randy Fairchild; her great grandson, Matt Henderson; and her brothers and sisters; Lee, Nim, Rosie, Hobert, Gilbert "Gib", and Robert.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, aunt, relative, and friend who be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation: Friday, September 15th, 2006, from 10 am until 2 pm
Funeral Service: Friday, September 15th, 2006 at 2 pm
Interment: Hurt Cemetery
