Obituary
Leland Sexton was born May 18, 1937 and departed this life Wednesday, May 13, 2015 reaching the age of 77 years. He was the son of the late Golie and Mossie (Carrender) Sexton.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Sexton and Randy Sexton; 2 grandchildren, Summer and Dylan Sexton. He is also survived by: one brother, Roy Sexton; and two sisters, Margaret Lee and Wanda Sexton; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, Golie and Mossie Sexton, he was preceded in death by: two brothers, George Ray Sexton and Charlie Sexton, along with four infant siblings.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 17, 2015 after 5 pm in the chapel of the funeral home and again, Monday morning, May 18th, 2015 until the service time at the Monticello Church of God. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 18, 2015 at 2 pm at the Monticello Church of God. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
Full military honors will be performed by our local DAV Chapter 105.
