Obituary
LELA MAE YOUNG was born July 4, 1946 and departed this life September 26, 2007 reaching the age of 61 years. She was the daughter of the late Ernest Poore and Effie Pritchett Poore Franklin.
She married Thomas "Pooch" Young and to this union three children were born.
She is survived by: her husband, Pooch Young of Monticello, KY; two daughters, Patricia Young and Mellisa Davis both of Monticello, KY; four grandchildren, Jessica, Sarah, and Jonathan Davis and Thomas Joe Tucker; and one great grandchild, Maci Kaye Tucker; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: one son, Donald Ray Young; two brothers, Harm and Willie Poore; and five sisters, Mary Harris, Edna Turner, Wanda Harris, Maude Brumley, and Fedina Poore.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
