Lawrence Allen Ford, Sr. was born November 22, 1940 and departed this life Saturday, August 3, 2019 reaching the age of 78 years. He was the son of the late Charles Roland Ford and Helen Mae (Hinds) White.

He is survived by: his wife, Barbara Ford; four sons, Lawrence Allen (Janette) Ford, Jr., Daniel J. (Rhonda) Ford, David M. (Kathy) Ford, and Mark A. (Kristan) Ford; two daughters, Rachel N. (Joe) Vaughn and Helen M. (Michael) Cobb; 22 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. He is also survived by: one brother, Leland Ford, Sr.; and two sisters, Judy San Felice and Melanie White Cardullo; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: one sister, Joyce Hinkle; 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 between 4 pm – 7 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Memorial services will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 7 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel.
