Obituary
Laura Upchurch was born July 6, 1923 and departed this life Friday, January 16, 2015 reaching the age of 91 years. She was the daughter of the late Bailey and Nancy (Martin) Foster.
She is survived by: one daughter, Shirley Foster, of Eminence, Ky; 2 special cousins, Susie and Bobby Troxell, of Eminence, Ky; along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who mourn her passing.
Along with her parents she was also preceded in death by: her husband Otto Upchurch, 2 brothers and 4 sisters.
She was a loving mother, aunt, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 after 11 am in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
The Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home of Monticello in charge of arrangements.
