Obituary
Laura Marie Neal Stinson was born November 20th, 1914 in Wayne County, Kentucky and departed this life Tuesday, August 27th, 2002, reaching the age of 87 years. She was the daughter of the late Denton Neal and Clolus Bertram Neal.
She was united in marriage to William Francis Neal and to this union 13 children were born.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Francis, one daughter-Josephine Dishman, and two brothers-Basco and Walter Neal.
She is survived by six sons-Stanley, Wendell, Larry, Russell, Billy and Cecil Stinson and six daughters-Thelma Dishman, Alma Neal, Ada Hancock, Carol Gregory, Judy Hanson and Peggy Sexton. She is survived by 34 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
She is also survived by six brothers-Cletus, Marvin, Hubert, James, David and E.L. Neal and five sisters-Ann Herbig, Flonnie Bertram, Justine Bertram, Naomi Lester and Mary Alice Parrigan, along with several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation: The family will receive friends after 5 PM on Thursday, August 29th in the chapel until the funeral hour.
Funeral Service: The funeral service will be Friday, August 30th at 2 PM in the chapel of the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home.
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
