Laura Minnie Coffey was born July 19, 1936 and departed this life Thursday, May 1, 2014 reaching the age of 77 years. She was the daughter of the late Rufus and Pearl (Criswell) Troxell.

She married Bennie Dishman on April 25, 1953 and to this union three children were born.  He preceded her in death. She later married Osborne Coffey in 1967 and he also preceded her in death on July 2, 1994.

She is survived by: three sons, Ben L. (Billie Ann) Dishman of Corona, CA, Warren L. (Sharon Kay) Dishman of Monticello, KY, and T. Wayne (Kathy) Dishman of Stearns, KY; 2 grandchildren; and  2 great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

She was also preceded in death by:  one sister, Agnes Sidwell; and two brothers, Ralph and James Troxell.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 5, 2014 after 5 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Frost officiating. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
