Larry Parmley was born March 10, 1943 and departed this life Sunday, December 04, 2011 reaching the age of 68. He was the son of the late Oliver and Lyda (Stringer) Parmley.

He is survived by: 3 sisters, Charlotte (Bruce) Crouch, Janet (Sammy) Bates, and Niokie Parmley; 4 brothers, Jerry (Karen) Parmley, Rook (Diane) Parmley, Mark (Carol) Parmley, and Dale Parmley; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Oliver and Lyda Parmley, he was preceded in death by: 2 brothers, Rex and Eric Parmley; and 2 nephews, Brandon Parmley and James Parmley.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 11 am at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Henry Stringer and Bro. Dan Parmley officiating. Burial will be in Parnell Methodist Church Cemetery.
