Larry McGinnis was born October 9, 1946 and departed this life Monday, December 14, 2015 reaching the age of 69 years. He was the son of the late Fred and Mossie (Kennedy) McGinnis.

He married Nancy McGinnis and to this union one child was born.

He is survived by: his wife, Nancy McGinnis; one son, Terry (Bobbie) McGinnis; one brother, Lifferd McGinnis; three grandchildren, Jessica (Joey) Dykes, Jennifer (Kevin) Conner and Jordan (Jessica) Foster; and four great grandchildren, Aria Conner, Joylen Dykes, Curran and Stone Foster and two on the way; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Fred and Mossie McGinnis; and two sisters, Effie Doss and Carrie Jean Marcum.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 after 5pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at 1pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Catron Cemetery.
