Larry Eugene "Pete" Winchester was born October 11, 1960, and departed this life September 14, 2024, reaching the age of 63 years. He was the son of the late Thomas Winchester and Roxie (Adkins) Guffey.

He is survived by:  his life partner, Wendy Winchester; five children, Amanda Winchester Stonewall, Nick Winchester, Chandler Winchester, Shelby Winchester, and Michael Smith; and five grandchildren, Riley Foust, Grayson, Kaydance Winchester, Baylee Winchester, and Bell Winchester; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Thomas Winchester and Roxie Guffey, he was preceded in death by: two sisters, Juney Gaye Decker and Willa Jean Albertson; and a nephew, Dalton Albertson.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 19, 2024, between 4:30 pm – 7 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 19, 2024, at 7 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel.
