Larry Cross was born February 25, 1959, and departed this life Sunday, November 3, 2024, reaching the age of 65 years. He was the son of the late James "Jim" and Mabel (Phipps) Cross.

He is survived by: his wife, Velma Cross; one son, Kyle Cross (Jeannie); three grandchildren, Ally Kate Cross, Larisa Ashley Cross, and James David Cross; and one brother, Alan Cross (Joyce); along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Jim and Mabel Cross, he was preceded in death by: one brother, Mickey Cross; and one niece, Ashley Cross.

He never knew a stranger and everyone that knew him loved him. He will be sadly missed.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 7, 2024, at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Old Charity Cemetery.
