Larry D. Chriswell was born February 13, 1952 and departed this life April 14, 2021 reaching the age of 69 years. He was the son of the late Lyle Dolen Criswell and Doris (Stephens) Tucker.

He is survived by: his wife, Nancy (Duncan) Chriswell; children, Erik (Janessa) Chriswell, Rachael Elizabeth (fiancé Shawn Tucker) Chriswell and Stacy (Jason) Piercy; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren. He is also survived by:  brother, Steve Criswell (Trish Brumley); stepbrothers, Mike Tucker (Shirley), John Tucker (Linda), and Curtis Ray Thompson; and step sister, Kathy Thomason; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: two brothers, Ronnie and Anthony Dale Chriswell; sister, Pamela Sue Chriswell; stepbrother, Boyce Ray Dick; and stepsister, Janey Hardy.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 18, 2021 between 12pm - 2pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 18, 2021 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.  Military honors will be provided by our local DAV Chapter 105.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation and upon recommendations from the Governor's Office for Funeral Homes, there will be some restrictions for service attendance. You are asked to please wear a mask or facial covering and observe the social distancing guidelines. No communal food or drinks are allowed at this time.
