Larry Robert Baker, 55, passed away at his home in Lexington, Kentucky on November 13, 2018.

He was the son of the late Clarence Ray and Barbara Smith Baker and is survived by three sisters:  Susan Baker Lackey (Leroy)of Bowling Green, KY, Ruth Baker Hranicky (Steve) of Lexington, KY, and Jean Baker Hargis (Doug) of Annapolis, Maryland.  He was the uncle to six nieces and nephews: Hope Olsen, Sean Hargis, Tabitha Eubanks, Shannon Hayes, Bethany Turner, and Jody Hranicky as well as several great-nieces great-nephews.

Larry was a graduate of the former Monticello Independent school and served in the Air Force branch of the U.S. armed forces and served in Florida and Alaska.  He was an avid diver and loved snow skiing.

After leaving the Air Force, he worked in the IT field for the government and as an independent contractor.

Visitation will be at Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home on Saturday November 17th at 3:00 with a memorial service to follow at 4:00.
