Lamoin Dalton was born February 6, 1930 and departed this life Saturday, May 15, 2021 reaching the age of 91 years. She was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Gussie (Kelsay) Denney.

She is survived by: ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­1 daughter, Mary Guinn; 1 son John (Shannon) Dalton; 3 grandchildren, Harrison Glen Dalton, John Robert Dalton and Lucas (Jenna) Guinn; 1 great grandchild, Parker Jeanne Guinn; 1 sister, Mary Ruth Upchurch; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Edwin Dalton.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

There will be a private family service only at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at the Elk Spring Cemetery.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation and upon recommendations from the Governor's Office for Funeral Homes, there will be some restrictions for service attendance. As of Friday, May 14, 2021, masks are NOT REQUIRED for those individuals (employees/attendees) who have been fully vaccinated, at least fourteen (14) days prior to a final dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
