Obituary
Knoxie Mae (Crabtree) Withers was born September 3, 1937 and departed this life Sunday, February 7, 2016 reaching the age of 78 years. She was the daughter of the late Roy and Minnie (Hunley) Crabtree.
She married Norris Withers and to this union three children were born.
She is survived by: one son, Tim Withers; two daughters, Lori Withers and Betsy Prater; and three sisters, Roxie Hicks, Nancy Jewell, and Betty Coffey; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, Roy and Minnie Crabtree, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Norris Withers; one grandchild, Lenora Mae Parker; one half- brother, Francis Smith; and one half-sister, Carrie Lamberson.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 13, 2016 after 5pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 14, 2016 at 2pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
